Artificial Intelligence AI - or artificial intelligence AI - is developing incredibly fast and will certainly fundamentally change our business world, education, politics, all sciences and even our coexistence, perhaps even ourselves. This is not least because we attach a great deal of importance to intellectual knowledge, because in our world view, knowledge is power. If this is true, then AI would have the greatest power in the future. But could it be that we overvalue pure knowledge?

The stupid man frets, the wise man understands. Said Lao-Tse 600 years before Christ, and the quote persists to the present day. So this is not about knowledge, but about understanding. What is it that distinguishes understanding from knowledge? How do we get from knowledge to understanding?
